Hydraulic Power Unit – Theatrical Automation

This large Hydraulic System is comprised of six 250 horsepower pump-motors. It is used to control a massive moving stage at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas. The 3,500 gallon reservoir has a double wall to contain oil in case of an accidental rupture. All pump-motors are double Parker piston pumps. A neighboring 120 gpm skid is dedicated for filtering and cooling.
