Hydraulic Power Unit - Theatrical Automation

This Hydraulic Power Unit is used to run stage lifts and props at a popular musical in a Las Vegas casino. Two 30 horsepower motors are vibration isolated and run at 1,200 rpm to keep machine noise to a minimum in the theater. The drip pan is designed to contain all the oil in case of a catastrophic failure. Proportional valves are used for precise control of the actuators.
